Bird Watching Video: Identify The House Wren

In this short video clip an expert discusses the nesting behavior of the house wren. He explains how the house wren is a smaller species of bird, and that the hole in a birdbox meant for them must be smaller than that of a larger species of bird. The male house wren is aggressive in defending its territory, and the expert describes how the males will fill multiple boxes with nesting material, and will continue to sing in front of each one, even if only one has eggs in it.
