Bird Watching Video, Choosing a Feeder and Bird Watching Tips
In this short video an expert explains what sorts of foods are popular for what sorts of birds, and also goes over special features of certain types of birdfeeders. The expert explains that black oil sunflower seed is of of the most popular types of food to feed wild birds, and that it can be dispensed from lucite tube feeders, or from other sorts of feeders. He identifies chickadees, cardinals and goldfinches as birds attracted to black oil sunflower seeds, and suggests either dispensing it from a hanging feeder, or scattering it on the ground along with other foods such as millet seeds and peanut hearts.
